Bonemarrow - Integration
Integrating design into decisions
From day zero to where you are today, what you are building is a personal investment.
Your product, your brand, and every decision carries intent and responsibility. As teams grow and design enters the picture, lack of clarity can turn design into a blockage rather than a force.
Whether you already have a design team or are planning to build one, this session focuses on a simple but often unasked question: Why does design exist in your business at all?
Over the last two decades, working through design problems across different companies and contexts, I have seen the same pattern repeat. Momentum increases, decisions multiply, and clarity starts to thin. I’ve helped set initial design direction and build teams in moments where work was moving, but alignment was missing.
Bonemarrow Integration is a focused, 90-minute, one-on-one session for founders and early-stage teams who sense that progress is happening, but direction feels slightly off. It is meant for moments when decisions are being made quickly — and will soon become expensive to change.
Most founders leave with clearer priorities, fewer unnecessary decisions, and a stronger sense of what to pursue, pause, or avoid next. Occasionally, this work extends into longer, on-site integrations. These are considered only through personal conversation and are currently fully committed.
If the 90-minute session resonates, you’re welcome to write to us.

Engagement
Design problem framing & strategic clarity
In some cases, the work extends beyond a single session into short, focused design discussions. These help clarify product direction, brand intent, and decision-making at moments when progress is moving faster than understanding.
Design leadership support
For teams without senior design leadership in place, I sometimes step in to support alignment, decision-making, and responsibility around design. This is not execution-focused, but about helping teams make better calls while building or scaling.
Longer-term integration (by conversation)
Occasionally, the work continues into a longer engagement where design decisions, team structures, or product direction need sustained attention. These integrations are selective and considered only through personal conversation.
